UPDATES: For those who are encountering difficulties sending their entries via daddyscool@philstar.com.ph, you may opt to send your emails through philstar.promos@gmail.com or promos@philstar.com.ph and kindly indicate that the email indicated in their print ads regarding the Father's day promo is not working.  Will continue to monitor Philippine Star if they will change the email indicated in their announcements. Good luck to everyone!

Father's day is still a month away but you might want to plan ahead to give him a very special celebration this year. How about a Php 10,000-worth of shopping spree at Robinsons Mall for FREE.

The Philippine Star and Robinsons Mall is looking for the five (5) daddies who deserve this special treat in their Daddy's Cool! promotion. Calling all sons and daughters to join this contest.  Just tell in 200 words or less why your dad means the world to you.

Send your entries to daddyscool@philstar.com.ph with a photo of your father doing what he does best (talent, skill, or hobby) from May 20 to June 3, 2012.  Include your name, age, address, contact nos. and the name and age of your dad.

Just one important note: Senders and their dad, in case they win, must make themselves available during the prize turnover on June 8 (Friday). All winning daddies will be featured in the June 17 (Father's day) issue of the Philippine Star.

Last year, fellow blogger Vance Madrid of www.purpleplumfairy.blogspot.com won the Mother's day edition of this contest.  Fortunately, my Nanay also won this year in what I consider a very generous promotion from Robinsons Malls and their affiliated shops.  I hope another fellow blogger or one of my readers win this thing as well.

There's me with my son Charles and Nanay Conchit during the awarding for Robinsons Mall Mother's Day promo 2012. This photo was published in the May 13, 2012 issue of the Philippine Star.
