Are you looking for a new place to explore? Try Miri!
Why Miri? Because it's FREE to got there! Woohoo!
Miri is the second largest city in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on Borneo. The discovery of oil 100 years ago transformed Miri from a quiet fishing village into a wealthy city. It has four National Parks each offering distinct attractions: Gunung Mulu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous for its caves and limestone formations; Niah was the discovery site of prehistoric human remains; Lambir Hills has stunning waterfalls and wildlife; and Loagan Bunut is ideal for hiking and birdwatching.
AirAsia Zest is launching a new route from Manila to Miri, further expanding its regional network and inviting travellers to discover the spectacular rainforest, enormous caves and limestone formations that have been listed as a World Heritage Site and many more ecotourism attractions with a promotional all-in fare starting from only Php460, one way.
“Staying true to our commitment to give more choices, better value and enhanced services, AirAsia Zest is pleased to announce that we are the first and only airline servicing Manila to Miri route, giving our passengers and OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) access to this majestic city,” AirAsia Zest Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joy Caneba said.
AirAsia Zest is introducing its Manila-Miri route with free seats promo which are available for booking at www.airasia.com starting today until 3 November 2013. Guests who will avail of this promo will be able to travel from 7 December 2013 to 14 April 2014. “AirAsia Zest’s brand of air travel is characterized by efficiency and good service and we are all geared up to welcome our guest to this new route on December 7, when we commence operations,” Caneba said.
